The Hebrews approach to reaching the cults

Uncategorized

Whenever a cult member encounters a biblical Christian, they never say, “That’s great. Praise God. Perhaps we can fellowship together or study God’s word together at another time, but for now I’ll be on my way.” Instead, the cult member proceeds to tell the Christian how they have more Scripture, more authority, more information about Jesus, the one true church, or rituals that can get you closer to God. How do we respond to this? My proposal is that we, like the author of Hebrews, show them that what we have in Jesus and who we are in Jesus is far better than anything that they could possibly offer us.
